You know me - always up for a challenge! And these sweet little ones were just that - although so incredibly sweet I could have snuggled them for days! But sadly I had to put them down and take portraits of them ;) And could they have been more beautiful??? #twins #newborntwins #portraits #centralarkansasbirth #portraitsession #familyphotos #Baby #newborn
Last weekend I had the joy of hanging out with one of my favorite families again in their home - celebrating a family gathering and the first Birthday of their precious little girl, Cora. This family has been with me since Cora was so very fresh from the womb and all the milestones in between! Thank you guys for being such awesome clients and friends (and not to mention all the awesome referrals!!!). Check out this sweet girl: #breastfeeding #babypictures #Baby #LittleRock #A
I had the best time with Xixi and her family as we documented her second pregnancy! Our session was very last minute, as we waited for her parents to fly in so they could join the fun. How proud they look! Totally worth the wait. Sweet big brother was a little more interested in playing than cooperating, but that's ok - when you're two, playing is your job! We've had quite a time trying to schedule photos of sweet little miss Lily now that she's Earthside - but I look forward
Early this week I got the chance to shoot not only a motherhood session - but three mothers all at once! This family was so sweet: grandma, two sisters and assorted littles...and when they let me know the sisters would love to have a shot of them nursing together? Swoon! Being the oldest (my baby sister is just getting married next month) and knowing my breastfeeding journey is over I knew this is the kind of family photo I won't be able to have for myself - so it made it all
This Tuesday I got together with a wonderfully sweet family in Little Rock for some updated Spring photos! We decided to go to the Bernice Gardens in SoMa for a delightfully hip feel and to try and scope some lovely Spring flowers out! Not only did we find some lovely art for backdrops but we happened to run into one of the gardeners herself! She was just the sweetest and clipped a flower for big sister to hold <3 We even popped over to the fantastic mural at The Root - an ol
I adore babies - no surprise there right? I have recently weaned my last nursling which makes nursing sessions all the more heartfelt for me! I've been thinking of something I could do to honor of my nearly decade long breastfeeding career and thought it would be fun to offer a special on nursing/baby feeding sessions! However you feed that sweet baby of yours will be a memory you look back on with fondness. So, from now until the end of May you can book a nursing/feeding min
If you've found yourself googling "push present" because you aren't sure if this is something you're obligated to do...let me enlighten you partner! Basically a push present is a gift presented to a mom as a thank you for birthing your child. It is clearly not mandatory and some moms may think it unessesary. However, a thoughtful gesture is always appreciated am I right? Many partners choose a nice piece of jewelry or flowers and I've been delighted with both choices myself.
There has been a lovely little crop of holiday babies lately! I love getting to hang out with families as they adjust to a new precious little one so I felt quite lucky to be invited over to meet sweet little Cora. Her big brother was a hoot and we got along swimmingly! It was hard to believe their mama had such a long birth journey so recently - she certainly did not look it - so put together and beautiful! Without further ado here are some lovely shots from baby Cora's newb
